Charlottetown’s 1864 Anniversary Celebrations

June 10 – 15, 2014

Charlottetown’s 1864 Anniversary Celebrations will be a six-day festival marking the 150th anniversary of the 1864 Charlottetown Conference of the Fathers of Confederation and the importance it played in the building of Canada.

Events held during the 1864 Anniversary Week, June 10-15, will be free and include activities rich with multicultural diversity, vibrant artistic talents, and celebrations of the culture and heritage of the City and Canada as a whole.

Tickets are NOT required for these free events, with the exception of the Mary Lambert Fire Safety Show. The free tickets are available for pickup beginning May 23, at the Charlottetown Fire Department’s Station 1, at 89 Kent Street, Monday-Friday 1-4 p.m., while quantities last.

Please note: This does not include the Concerts in the Park series, the Sailpast by the Charlottetown Yacht Club or the Official Ceremony at 1:45 p.m., which are all events that will go ahead rain or shine at Victoria Park today.
