City of Charlottetown

The department has a number of baseball/softball fields available to be booked. For groups who wish to book weekly use for the upcoming season, the application deadline is the second Friday of April.
Decisions on field closures due to wet field conditions are made by 3:00 PM (Monday – Friday). Please contact 368-1025, if in doubt about the status of your field. On the weekend please call 388-0857. However, field closures can occur during the evening and the weekend due to changing weather conditions, please use your common sense whether to play or not. This will help protect the ball fields and help ensure the safety of the users.

Organizations and the general public are asked to refrain from using City operated fields unless permission has been obtained from the Charlottetown Parks and Recreation Department. Unauthorized use, especially during the late fall and early spring when wet conditions prevail, will cause severe damage to turf areas. Your cooperation is very much appreciated.

WR Central Field 2 (lights available) – located off Raider Road - scheduled to open mid July 2009

Mulberry Field – located off Mulberry Avenue and Ash Drive

Hillsborough Field – located off Patterson Drive

Queen Elizabeth Fields 1 & 2 – located off Queen Elizabeth Drive

Queen Charlotte Field – located off North Road

Parkdale Diamond – located off Palmers Lane

Kiwanis Field (Rookie & Mosquito) – located off Brighton Road

George Smith Field (Rookie & Mosquito) – located off Henri Blanchard Drive and Callbeck Crescent

West Royalty School Field (practice field) - located off Commonwealth Drive

Heartz Field (practice field) – located off Heartz Road
