Rain Barrel Sale Spring 2012: Beginning in April 2012, Charlottetown Water & Sewer Utility will be selling rain barrels at cost for all Charlottetown residents and businesses. Rain barrels can be placed under any existing downspout to collect rain water off your roof. This water can be used for watering plants and gardens and other outdoor water uses. Visit City Hall to purchase your Rain Barrel today. Limited supplies available.

Volunteer Meter Program – Currently, most single-family homes in Charlottetown are unmetered and pay an annual flat-rate for their water, regardless of how much they use. As part of the City’s water conservation program we are encouraging homeowners to sign up to become a metered customer and pay based on their water consumption. For those who use water carefully, are part of a small household or don’t live in their home year round, there is potential to save money on your water bill. Read More
