2012-02-21 The City of Charlottetown, Town of Stratford, Town of Cornwall, and the PEI Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal have been working together to develop an exciting plan to help improve conditions for cycling and walking in the Greater Charlottetown Area.
The Regional Active Transportation Plan recommends ways to develop comfortable and attractive pedestrain and cycling facilities that will connect major activity hubs throughout Charlottetown, Stratford, and Cornwall. It also includes policies and guidelines to inform local community decisions. Encouraging people to bicycle and walk more contributes to community sustainability with health, social, economic and environmental benefits for all citizens of the Greater Charlottetown Area.
Recommendations have emerged following public sessions and meetings with interested citizens: - Making it Visible; - Pursuing Big Ideas; - Supporting Local Plans; and - Working Together.
We invite you to drop by the FINAL Open House to review the recommendations and provide feedback:

Dance Umbrella - Thirst for Life

2012-03-10
The Senior Musical Theatre class presents the pioneer drama Thirst for Life.
Every story needs a bad guy. In this one, he happens to be a vampire. But this play is not about witchcraft, dark arts, voodoo or black magic. It is about belonging and being true to who you are. It is a parable about a wondrous place where mortal enemies come together to live in peace. It just happens to be told with humans and vampires... and cool music.
