Clifford was born and raised in Charlottetown where he lives with his wife Anne Marie and son Jamie.
First elected to Charlottetown City Council in November of 1986, he has served consecutive terms to date, was appointed Deputy Mayor in 2000 and elected Mayor of Charlottetown in November of 2003 and re-elected in November 2006. Clifford has been employed with the Province of Prince Edward Island since 1979.
His community services involvement includes being coordinator/manager with the Charlottetown Minor Hockey Association and board member of the PEI Action Housing Association. In his leisure time Clifford enjoys golfing, minor league sports and watching hockey.

Kim was first elected to Charlottetown City Council in November 2003, she was re-elected for a four year term in November 2006. She is currently serving as chair of the Planning and Heritage Committee as well as the newly established Arts and Culture Committee. She also serves on both Finance and Urban Beautification Committees. In her first term on Council, Kim chaired Downtown Revitalization and was a member of the Transit and Economic Development Committees.
She has a Bachelor of Arts from UPEI. Before staying at home to raise her three children, Kim worked in media and politics. She worked on CBC Radio’s morning program as a researcher and writer-broadcaster. She also worked as a parliamentary assistant in Ottawa and in government communications.
In the past, she has done radio and TV commentaries on current issues and worked short-term contracts doing research and organizational work. As a result of her involvement in neighbourhood issues, she was appointed to the City’s Planning Board as a resident member in 2001.
Since becoming elected, Kim has worked with the PEI Advisory Council on the Status of Women on special initiatives to encourage more women to run for public office. Kim has 3 children and lives in Downtown Charlottetown.

Danny was born and raised in Charlottetown where he lives with his wife Paula and their two children.
First elected to Charlottetown City Council in November 2000, he was re-elected in 2003 and again in 2006. He has received his Certificate in Basic Counseling Skills from Holland College and his BA from UPEI. Throughout his career he has worked primarily in the Mental Health field and is currently working with the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Danny has served the community through various organizations in a range of capacities including fund raising, coaching, and serving on the board of the PEI Tackle Football League, golf, hockey, and baseball are his primary leisure time interests.

Rob is a lifelong resident of Ward 3, Brighton, where he was born, raised and educated. He attended West Kent Elementary, Queen Charlotte Junior High and Colonel Gray High School before earning a Bachelor of Science Degree (Biology) from the University of Prince Edward Island. Rob lives on Crestwood Drive with his wife Kelly and his two sons, Brodie and Ronan.
After successfully operating his own reforestation company, which planted millions of trees on private and Crown land across PEI, Rob returned to school and received an Advanced Diploma from Holland college in Business Information Systems Development. He has worked in the information technology sector for over ten years and is presently employed as an IT Consultant specializing in Human Resource applications for large private corporations and public sector clients. He has been involved in a variety of significant provincial and municipal projects in PEI and throughout Atlantic Canada.
Rob enjoys volunteering his time and technical expertise with a number of charitable organizations and public interests groups.

Mitchell was born and raised in Charlottetown and works in the family businesses.
First elected to Charlottetown City Council in October 1994, he is now in his fifth consecutive term. He earned his BA and Diploma in Public Administration from the University of Prince Edward Island and took the Law, Politics, and Jurisprudence Program at St. Mary’s University.
His public and community service includes being chair/president/member of various organizations as well as a volunteer in fund raising initiatives. Mitchell's leisure time is spent enjoying weight training, football, and music.

Stu is a lifelong resident of the City of Charlottetown and lives with his wife Cindy and their son Jeremy on Newland Crescent. Stu has three other children; Gordie, Heather and David, all Island residents and is grandfather to four.
First elected to Charlottetown City Council in November 2000, he was appointed Deputy Mayor in 2003 and is now entering his third consecutive term. He attended St. Dunstan’s University, the University of Prince Edward Island, and the University of New Brunswick. A former teacher and city employee, Stu has had great involvement with the City and has been very active in the community. He has served on many boards, has been involved with the coaching of various sports and, in his leisure time, enjoys watching Rocket hockey, other sporting activities and attending the many cultural events at the Confederation Centre.

David, his wife Cheryl and their children Craig, Brady and Marlee have lived in the Sherwood community of Charlottetown since 1980. He joined Veterans’ Affairs Canada in April 1981 and currently holds the position of Director, Property Management. Since April 2001 he has been on secondment with The Dominion Command of the Royal Canadian Legion as a Real Property Consultant.
Elected to Charlottetown City Council in November 2006, he formerly served three terms on the Community of Sherwood Council prior to the City of Charlottetown amalgamation in 1995. As a Sherwood Councillor he Chaired the Police and Fire Committee, was Chair of the Planning Board and served as Chair of the Sherwood Parkdale Recreation Committee. David is also presently serving his third term as the Eastern School board Trustee for Zone 7.
David attended the University of Prince Edward Island and Holland College and presently holds Certificates from York University in Facilitation/ Mediation and Advances Facilitation/Meditation, as well as, a certificate in Real Property. In 1999 he received a Public Service Excellence Award and he is also a Queen Golden Jubilee Medal recipient.
David has played and coached many sports and he presently coaches girls softball and ringette. In his spare time he enjoys reading, bicycling and family travel.

Cecil was born in Charlottetown and lives with his wife Carolyn at 169 Royalty Road. Cecil has two children; Candice and Cody. He is a long distance runner, an avid golfer and a squash player.
Cecil has an educational background in health administration and has been employed in the health sector for the past twenty-eight (28) years. He is currently the director of community hospitals and continuing care for the provincial Department of Health.
First elected to Charlottetown City Council in November 2003, he served as chair of the human resources and pension committee and the police and bylaw enforcement committee, as well as the chair of the youth advisory committee. Reelected to Council in November 2006, he is presently serving a four-year term. He is the chair of the finance, audit and tendering committee, vice-chair of the economic development and tourism committee and environment committee, and a member of the fire and emergency services committee.
Cecil has been very active in his community over the years. He has chaired the CIBC Run for the Cure for breast cancer for the last five years and serves as a board member of the Atlantic Chapter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Cecil has also been involved with Special Olympics for more than 20 years, being instrumental in starting the Special Olympics Chapter in P.E.I. He has served as the President of Special Olympics P.E.I. from 1997-2000, served on the Board of Special Olympics Canada from 1999-2005 and was national liaison with the Host Committee for the Special Olympics Canada National Winter Games. In 2001, he received the “Hero Award” for his outstanding contribution to Special Olympics International, the Jim Thompson Award in 2002 for his contribution to the Special Olympics movement in Canada, and the President’s Award in 2004 from Special Olympics P.E.I. He is also a recipient of the Queen’s Jubilee Medal, the Prince Edward Island Sport Administrator of the Year for 2002, and the Institute of Public Administration Award for Excellence in Community Service in 2005. In December of 2004, he was selected as one of two representatives from P.E.I. to participate as an election observer as part of the Canadian Election Observer Mission to Ukraine.

Peter has resided in Ward 8 for the past 33 years with his wife Sheila and was first elected to City Council in November, 2006.
Peter retired in August 2006 from Reliable Motors in Charlottetown where he was employed for the past fifteen years as a Sales and Leasing Consultant. His past professional experience included ten years in the Public Service as a Program Supervisor in Addiction Services and he also owned and operated a retail business in the Charlottetown area for ten years.
Peter’s public and community service involvement includes being Chair/President of various organizations and he has served on many fund-raising committees such as the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Alzheimer Society. For the past ten years he played a major role in the Charlottetown Kinsmen Club annual fund-raiser and was an active member of the Charlottetown Rotary Club.
Peter’s leisure time is spent enjoying camping, snowmobiling and quality time with his family.

Melissa was born and raised in Charlottetown where she lives with her husband Rob Gallant and two daughters.
Melissa was first elected in October, 2005 and re-Elected to Charlottetown City Council in November 2006. She received her BA major Psychology from U.P.E.I. in 1990.
Melissa is an active board member with the Four Neighborhood Community Health Centre and the Island Fitness Council. In her spare time she teaches aerobic classes, enjoys swimming, playing squash and watching her daughters in their sporting activities.

Born and raised in Charlottetown, Terry lives here with his wife Sandy and their three children.
First elected to Charlottetown City Council in November 2000, Terry was re-elected in November 2006 for his third term. He graduated from Holland College in 1984. After working with Maritime Marketing Terry assumed duties with the Provincial Government in 1986 where he is still currently employed today.
Terry’s public and community service involvement includes being coach, president, organizer and manager of a number of sporting organizations. Terry spends his leisure time with activities such as golf, hockey, woodworking, camping, fishing, and spending quality time with family.
