2017-05-26 - T3 Transit Offers Free Passes for Car Free Day

T3 Transit, in partnership with the City of Charlottetown, Town of Stratford, Town of Cornwall and Youth Matters, will be offering free round trip passes to use on Car Free Day – Friday, June 9.

Complimentary T3 Transit passes are now available online after completing a short four question survey. The survey is only expected to take two minutes and is available at: http://bit.ly/2rTjVCZ.  After completing the online survey, participants will be given a link to print two, one-way vouchers to ride on T3 Transit to be used on June 9 inclusively. Passes will also be available at Charlottetown City Hall, Stratford Town Hall and Cornwall Town Hall at the reception desks.

Car Free Day is a tri-municipal initiative to encourage people to consider sustainable transportation options, including: active transportation (cycling, walking, etc.) and using public transit. This initiative is part of Bike Week taking place June 3 to 10 with various cycling activities offered through the City of Charlottetown, Town of Cornwall, Town of Stratford and Cycling PEI.  To view a full schedule of events, visit: www.charlottetown.ca/bikeweek.php.
