The City of Charlottetown, in partnership with Tree Canada, FedEx, and Desbrisay Community Gardens, is offering a FREE workshop on edible trees and permaculture techniques.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, June 24 from 9 a.m. until noon at the Desbrisay Community Gardens, on Desbrisay Crescent in Charlottetown.
Adam MacLean, co-creator of the Legacy Community Garden, will lead the workshop. The free workshop will explore how to create a diverse edible landscape that incorporates fruit and nut trees, berry bushes and perennials into a lower maintenance, edible landscape using applied ecology and permaculture design.
