The City of Charlottetown, in partnership with Tree Canada, FedEx, and Desbrisay Community Gardens, held a free workshop on edible trees and permaculture techniques on Saturday, June 24.

Adam MacLean, co-creator of the Legacy Community Garden, led the workshop that explored how to create a diverse edible landscape that incorporates fruit and nut trees, berry bushes and perennials into a lower maintenance, edible landscape using applied ecology and permaculture design.
