The City of Charlottetown and go!PEI, through the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Foundation, will be offering another year of the "I Love to Skate" Program. This free program is an Island-wide, winter activity designed to encourage all children to be more active and learn the fundamentals of skating. Registration for the I Love to Skate! Learn to Skate Program is now open.

The program will take place on Tuesdays from 3 p.m. until 3:45 p.m., from November 7 until December 12, at the Cody Banks Arena (58 Maple Avenue).

Learn to skate programs will be offered by community partners in the Town of Stratford and the City of Summerside, as well as various communities covered by the three regional sports and recreation councils. Each program is 45 minutes and runs weekly for a minimum of six weeks. It’s designed for children of all abilities, ages 4-18.

To register for the Charlottetown program, please email the City of Charlottetown Program Coordinator at cdrummond@charlottetown.ca
