The traditional Natal Day Parade takes place on Sunday, June 11. During the lineup, which begins at 9 a.m., Kent Street will be closed between Queen and Pownal. Depending on the number of participants, a temporary closure may also be necessary on Kent Street between Pownal and Rochford.
The parade will depart from Fire Station 1 (89 Kent Street) at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, June 11. There will be a rolling closure as the parade proceeds along the route. The parade will depart from the Fire Station, proceed to Queen Street, turn onto Grafton Street, and conclude at St. Paul's Anglican Church at approximately 10 a.m.
Members of the Canada 911 Ride will lead the parade. Police Officers will be assisting in directing traffic. The public is advised to be cautious during the parade and follow instruction by the officers.
The Natal Day Parade will go ahead rain or shine.
