Charlottetown is very proud of its beauty and wants to maintain it. In Association with Communities In Bloom, now in its 14th year, the City wishes to continue to reward those who maintain buildings and landscapes in the Island’s Capital.
Rules:
1. The property must be located within the city limits and all improvements must be in compliance with City Bylaws.
2. Judges may redirect entries to a more appropriate category.
3. No members of the organizing committee, or of their immediate family are eligible to enter.
4. Public nominations are welcome but nominators are asked to include their own names.
5. No artificial flowers are permitted.
6. Judges reserve the right not to award a prize in any category.
7. The decision of the judges is final.
8. Only work done since last year’s program will be considered except where noted.
Awards will be presented at the Communities In Bloom awards evening in late July. Citizens are encouraged to nominate a neighbour whom they consider is worthy of an award in any of the categories.
Entry Deadline is July 19, 2009.
